A Night on the Red

One winery has come up with a new concept as part of Tastes of Rutherglen this weekend.

Buller Wines is hosting ‘A Night on the Red’ featuring live music from Melbourne based Bee Gees Tribute Show, as well as their wine, craft beer and tasty street food.

Paul Squires from Buller Wines says the event is an opportunity to trial a new offering as part of Tastes of Rutherglen.

“We have a fantastic new restaurant opening over the next few weeks,” Paul said.

“This event gives us a chance to trial some new offerings in a great new space.

“We thought rather than host a big fancy dinner, we’d give options for food and wine lovers to sample something different.”

For fans of music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s this family friendly event is sure to appeal, while tastes buds will also be well catered for.

“We’ve got fantastic hampers for two, we’ve also got street food such as fish tacos, sriracha chicken and pulled pork bao buns – all reasonably priced so we can focus on a great fun, affordable night,” Paul said.

Buller Wines is one of 19 local wineries offering a range of new wines and experiences as part of the Tastes of Rutherglen weekend, considered the ultimate gourmet adventure.

Visitors are encouraged to taste, sip and savour Rutherglen’s many flavours, with more than 18 regional chefs, restaurants and caterers adding their flair to this famous foodie festival.
