Quirky – Scarecrows, Sausages & Shiraz Festival, Wahgunyah

Pfeiffer Wines presents Scarecrows, Sausages and Shiraz Festival, a two day weekend where quirky and colourful scarecrows leap to life amid a spring celebration of Shiraz, sausages and song.

Prizes will be awarded for best scarecrow, best school scarecrow, best business scarecrow, people’s choice and best living scarecrow.

Live Theatre – Nunsense, Wodonga

Nunsense begins when the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in dire need of funds for the burials.

The sisters decide the best way to raise the money is to put on a variety show.

Performances of Nunsense, are at the Cube Wodonga and continue Friday and Saturday.

Relax – SunDay FunDay Cofield Wines Rutherglen

Join Cofield Wines for their SunDay FunDay on 30 September with live music by “Solace Duo” on the lawns from 12:00 to 4:00pm.

The Wine Bar will be serving up wines, and cocktails using Hurdle Creek Gin and they will also have Bridge Road Brewer Beer on site. There’s also a jumping castle and outdoor lawn games for the young and young at heart.

Live Bands – Ultimate Sunday Session, Bended Elbow Albury

The Bended Elbow is supporting local live talent with the Ultimate Sunday Session and their biggest band event for the year.

Three bands will be rocking the rooftop with ‘Red Empire’, ‘Forgotten Kings’ and ‘This Is Not A Phase Mum’, as well as a solo set from Toby Mobbs.

Music kicks off at 5.30pm, live and free.
