Tastings – Corowa Distilling Co’s First Release

A weekend of celebrations are in store at Corowa Whisky and Chocolate with the release of its first whisky.

With whisky maturing in a barrel for between five to ten years, it’s no wonder they’re ready to finally celebrate!

Activities include interactive distilling sessions, $5 tours every hour, markets and live music on Saturday and Sunday.

Relax – Live Music, Vanessa Delaine, The Bended Elbow Albury

Enjoy a Father’s Day Sunday session, live and free in The Laneway at The Bended Elbow from 6.30pm.

Vanessa Delaine’s diverse musical background sees her music cross into genres that encompass blues, country and roots.

Vanessa has enjoyed Australian and International chart success and has released a new album ‘Wild & Free’.

Family Fun – Sunday FunDay, Cofield Wines Wahgunyah

Treat dad and the family to a relaxing day of music, food and beverages at the beautiful surrounds of Cofield Wines for their Sunday FunDay on Father’s Day

There will be live music by “Me and The Girl” on the lawns from 12:00 to 4:00pm, the Wine Bar will be serving up Cofield wines, as well as some cocktails using Hurdle Creek Gin and there will also be Bridge Road Brewer Beer available.

There’s a jumping castle for the kids, as well as plenty of outdoor lawn games for all the family to enjoy.

Arts & Culture – Two Strengths exhibition, by Tamara Murray

Local artist Tamara Murray has launched her new body of work as part of a solo exhibition at Wodonga’s burraja gallery.

Inspired by her art and her children (her two strengths), the Two Strengths exhibition symbolises Tamara’s move towards an unrestricted expression of mark making; the taking of a deep breath as she explores new gestures and line.

Two Strengths runs until Friday 2 November 2018 at burraja gallery Lincoln Causeway, Gateway Island, Wodonga.

Relax – Music on the Murray, St Leonards Vineyard

Enjoy this month’s Music on the Murray on Saturday 1 September featuring Cat Canteri, while enjoying a glass of wine and gourmet food while soaking up the atmosphere of St Leonards Vineyard on Saturday from 12:00 – 4:00pm (café 12:00 – 3:00pm).
