New Addition to Brewery Trail

The High Country Brewery Trail has welcomed newcomer, King River Brewing to its ever expanding cluster of craft breweries now dotted across the region.

The latest addition expands the trail to eight members – Black Dog Brewery in Taminick, Blizzard Brewery in Dinner Plain, Bridge Road Brewers in Beechworth, Bright Brewery, Rutherglen Brewery, Social Bandit Brewing Company in Mansfield and Sweetwater Brewing Company in Mount Beauty.

The High Country Brewery Trail offers locals and visitors a structured way to explore the stunning scenery, gourmet flavours and tempting hand-crafted beers of the region.

The eight brewers also got together today for their fifth annual collaborative brew day, where they created a commemorative Belgian Ale under the established label Rule #47 using locally grown hops from the Rostrevor Hop Garden in the Ovens Valley.
